    Default crib rail teether

Has anyone bought those crib rail teethers? Not the ones that come with the crib, but the ones you buy separately. DS loves to stand up and bite his crib rail. Are these things worth it? I've heard that babies just yank them off. What do you think?

It did it's job for about 2 weeks until my 9 month old son figured out how to remove it. Now it's mostly on the floor or in his crib.

They do make ones that have an adhesive strip, so they supposedly won't come off as easily. But the tops of our crib rails are rounded and the teething rails are flat, so I didn't think they would work, or look right, so I never put them on. And since I got them from BabyCatalog I never got around to returning them within the 30 days, so they sit in a corner of the room.

Evan does chew on everything, but once he grew higher than the crib rail, he doesn't seem to chew on that as much anymore. We have a Pali April crib in natural, and you can't see the teeth marks unless you look for/feel for them.
