toilet lock

I just bought Safety 1st's toilet lock and we can't install it. It just doesn't attach properly. I just threw it out. What brands do work?

Hi. I bought the Kidco lock from Baby Center. It was the most expensive one ($13 vs. $4 for the other ones) but I bought it because it was the only lock that actually screwed on to the bolts on the back of the toilet seat. The other locks I saw used an adhesive, which didn't seem very good to me. Anyway, the Kidco lock works great.

We also bought the KidCo lock because the other one didn't work on our toilet. It works fine, though my mother just broke ours by pushing on it without pushing down the "push" button first (have to grandma-proof, too! :-) -- she bought us a replacement). We bought ours at BRU for about $15.
