Default Any way to secure shower/tub doors?

Our bathtub has a sliding glass door which Gannon has discovered with unbridled joy. Are there any ways to secure it? I worry about him falling into the tub with NO water and smacking his head on the bottom. (And obviously WITH water too.) TIA! :)

Kid Co. makes sliding door adhesive latches which may work for your situation. I have not tried them in that application, though. http://www.kidco.com/safety.cfm

Maybe some adhesive velcro attached out of reach to the frame and door? Or a window lock? Just some thoughts...

    Hi Joanne,

    Here is another possible solution.

Now if I could figure out a way for Ryan to keep from climbing in the tub too! It always seems like Ryan and Gannon are discovering the same things. Too cute! Good luck.

How about the old broom stick trick used for years with sliding glass doors (of course the first tie Gannon sees you remove the broom stick, he'll have that figured out too).
