Any suggestions on houseplants?

I have a few huge houseplants (5-6 feet tall) that simply won't fit on a raised surface out of reach. Does anyone have innovative ideas as to how to keep these away from baby?

We're managing babyproofing pretty well, but how to deal with all my plants has me stumped! :o

Why not wait to see if it is a problem? Colin hasn't bothered my plants much at all, though we did move the plants into a less-used room so that he is supervised when he is around them.
