I have a very large house plant (a ficus)in my living room, actually its more like a tree. My son who is just about 13 months loves to race me to it and then throw the dirt around. I have gotten rid of most of my plants, but would hate to have to give this one away too. I recently bought some netting to put on top,but I have a feeling that he will be able to easily remove it.I am wondering if anyone had any good ideas to cover the dirt so my son doesn't have access. I was thinking that one of those plastic cones that dogs sometimes have to wear around their neck would be a great solution, but sadly nothing like that exists for plants.
Thanks for your help!
