    Default A TRUE one-handed gate??

We've had the First Years Hands-Free gate on dd's doorway and have an OLD Fisher-price one-handed gate that I love. I need two more to block off the kitchen and can't find any that will work. Will you share where you got your gates if you have what I need.

Btw, I bought the Safety1st(supposed) One-handed gate. It DOES NOT work! I've grown to despise it over the last two weeks.

    Thanks for any help!

Do you want pressure mounted or harware mounted? Is there a specific width it needs to be? Will the First Yearrds Hands Free gate not workin your kitchen?

This is the gate we have on the stairs and it one handed. I can open it while carrying my 25# toddler or a whole basketof laundry. It is hardware mounted though. http://tinyurl.com/9pm5r Although it's a stair gate you could use it anywhere.

We also have this gate and like it a lot. Again, it is one handed. You can either pressure mount it or hardware mount it. If you use hardware it will swing open. If you pressure mount it you can just lift the whole gate and put it out of the way. We use it on the bottom of our stairs pressure mounted. http://tinyurl.com/83vpl

Thank you for the response!!! :)

I was wanting pressure mounted since it didn't need to be up permanently. I have the FY Hands-Free Gate(in dd's doorway to keep dog out) and LOVE it but I was hoping for a more portable one(for different doorways).

I've seen the All-clear Swing Gate but was thinking it would look horrible after a while with fingerprints, etc. Does yours look okay? I think I'm going to get this one and give it a whirl. The clear plastic was not the most appealing to me but I think it's the closest I'm going to get.

    Thanks again for the response!
