I ordered three nursing blouses on 20 August. Everything was on backorder... fine, okay, I can wait. But they never got in touch with me.

Finally, last night (or rather, very, very early this morning -- 7 October) I emailed them, because everything is off of backorder (and has been a while, I think). I asked for an explanation of the delay.

"Thanks! Your order has been processed and is shipping today!" is all the response I got.

You know, maybe I'm spoiled by the good customer service of places like Lands' End, but I expect things on backorder to ship as they come in, not wait a month and a half for them to ALL be ready! And then only ship when the customer contacts you to remind you.

It also seems like items are either backordered there, or limited in selection of size and colour. I suppose that keeps their inventory needs low.
