    Default Canadian Marathons

Picked up our new Marathon at Macklem's in Toronto today. (www.macklems.com) If you check the www.britaxusa.com website, there are a good bunch of new vendors for their products in Canada, and some of them are outside Toronto, hooray! Plus it sounds like Macklem's will ship, even though they don't have online ordering.

Anyway, Macklem's is charging $329 instead of the more standard $349 - not a huge saving, but hey - you can still have fun with twenty extra bucks!

Oh, and if you're interested in a Pepeny shade for the stroller, they're selling theirs off at $40 instead of the more standard $80.

    Cheers,

    KathyO

We went to Maclems last weekend I really liked the service, we spoke with the owner and he was so candid about everything!

I am looking to buy this carseat but when I go to the website no Canadian vendors come up. How did you get them to come up? I clicked on Canada and it said none. I did find a store here in Calgary that carries them though for the $349. Did you see the fabrics? Can you help me with that? They don't look very nice on the webite, I can't tell what they really look like.

All show them on their site, their are more also...depending upon where you live in toronto lil niblets & baby sprouts has them and in the GTA dear born in thornhill.

That is odd the britax site should show retailers??

    Thanks Pamela!
I don't know why but it still won't work. Guess I'll use the old fashioned way...phone! I'm in Calgary. There are only a handful of stores that could possibly carry it.
    Do you like your's?

I do, it's a bigger seat so it can be more difficult if the car is smaller etc but on the whole it's like a lazy boy rocker so nice and comfy, if we go in the car we tend to drive a distance so at least my ds is comfy, he sleeps in the car a fair bit also.

Probably my only dislike is the hugs, but they have rounded them which is good since ds bites them x(

On the whole anyhow yes, great seat i will be buying another as ds is creeping up the back of his RA & i'm running outta harness lol

GL! their seem to be more retailers than before :) a good thing!

I just saw the Marathons at Bo Bebe this weekend, and I agree about the fabric choices! I hadn't spied one IRL before, but kind of winced when I saw the fabric pictured on the TJ's Kids website ...

BTW, there's no GST at Bo Bebe until closing on March 31 (tomorrow).
