I need new winter boots!

Any suggestions? I have dressy boots, but for real winter days I would like Sorels or something like them. I have an old pair of Sorels that is awesome - warm and not too ugly... but they are the slipperiest boots I have ever worn!? I have had them for over 10 years, so I think I can justify a new pair ;) The most important feature is warmth, followed by non-slip, then fashion.

Maybe try Cougar boots, do you have a shoe company near you? they offer good prices on that brand.

I bought these Sorels in black (and pink laces!) at Sears - they regularly go 30-40% off, which is a great price on them. Now I just need to wait until Friday for a price adjustment:
