I scrolled through the names here....lots are new, some are familiar, but I will never forget the kindness the women of this board showed to me during Adam's affair and our divorce.

Just wanted y'all to know I'm still alive and kicking, having fits and starts with dating, and finding that being a single mom is harder than I imagined, especially with a non-present father who chose to live with his girlfriend 8 hours away.

Ellen has been a never-ending fountain of entertainment, my constant companion, and source of joy. We even have a "date" Friday night to see "Over the Hedge"!

Now that Ellen has developed her own personality and sense of style (both fashion and way of doing things) I'm sure I'll be around a bit more looking for guidance!

Hi Shannon!!! I'm relatively new here and it's nice to meet you. The women on this board are still WONDERFUL and it's good to have you here. I'm sorry to hear about the divorce but it sounds like you 2 are doing great :). It must be hard to be a single mom, I often wonder how women are able to do it. It's good that you left a bad situation and you are being so strong for your DD.
That is so cute that you 2 have a date on Friday. I can't wait til I'm able to see my DS's personality more and take him on dates :)!
