RE: Be snarky, what is your pet peeve?
I have too many I am afraid. The ones that come to mind first are clothing related for some reason.
If you don't have a flat stomach, you should not wear short midreef bearing tops. I don't want to see your fat, no matter how skinny or not you are in other places or how hot it is outside or how much it is in this season.
Hate people talking loudly on their cell phones. Any public place and yes, that includes a nail salon, lady.
Or people smoking/drinking alcohol next to a playground. I don't want my child to be exposed to it on more than one level.
To my co-workers: don't give me the dirty look when I leave at 6:15-6:30 PM. I've done all I had to do for the day, otherwise I would not be leaving, and I have a kid to pick up from daycare. You'll understand when you have kids. And, yes, my boss knows I am leaving 'early'. He is OK with it as long as things get done. Sorry, people, we are in different lines of business and mine does not require as many ours on most days although it pays as much or more than your, that's why I went to business school and chose not to be in your field.
To co-workers ladies: Yes, this suit/blouse is also bought in America. I know you think it's too conservative but in my job I am supposed to look conservative and wear suits with pantyhose and closed shoes, even in summer. Conservative also means classic most of the time so lasts longer. And no, I don't have time (to go shopping for more European looking things), neither I feel like investing too much money in work clothes, I think I've spent more than enough for my American clothes, which were mostly sewn in Italy for your information. Shopping for myself is no longer exciting now that I have DS. You might understand when you have children.
Just posting these things made me feel better.
