That is what I came downstairs to this morning typed in a Word document in 72p font. WTH? or maybe WTF? would be more appropriate here.

Dear DH,

Important as what? Sleep? I am soooo sorry if your clothes didn't get into the dryer because shortly after 2am, when you decided to go to bed, our son decided to start fussing that he was hungry and (gasp) tired. So I went up to feed him and I had the audacity to fall asleep. At 2am. Or that the house wasn't spotless this morning when you woke up because you asked me to stay up and clean the house all night. Even though you refused to call off of work so I could then sleep. Also, are we not as important as Christmas cards? After hours filling out 75 plus cards you can't wrap a couple of presents or wash some dishes or maybe just MAYBE throw your dirty socks down the laundry shoot?

I'm starting to think a bunch of us BBB ladies and DCs should start a holiday tradition of sending all our DH's off together and we do our own holiday stuff. Bah humbug on your DH. I hope you get some sleep and feel better so you can enjoy the holiday with your kids.

Mmmm. My letter would have been a bit shorter. I would have written "No." at the bottom of his letter and left it on his pillow when I laid down for my afternoon nap, without having done the dishes, laundry or the holiday cards!

For the vast majority of DD#1's firt year my motto to DH was, "Remember, sleep trumps EVERYTHING for me right now."

Where does he get off with the "we" stuff? Your babies sound like they're happy and healthy. And where does anyone get off asking someone else to stay up all night and clean the house? What was he doing until 2 am? Watching tv? Sounds like he's the narcicisstic opera singer - It's all about me me me me. I am so mad for you!!

And you filled out 75+ Christmas cards? Yikes, I don't know if I mailed out that many invitations for my wedding! And those took weeks to fill out.
