Default O.k. so apparently it wasn't for me...

I don't know if I am buying it or not, but I'll forgive him (for now :P). It is the holidays after all. He claims there was a post on his DJ board that really made him mad, I think he got to work and realized how stupid it was to leave that on the computer and came up with a story to avoid my wrath.

When I came in to work today I got an email from my boss that rang very true with me. And I think that I should share it with you all, 'cause you're my friends. I wish you all the best this Holiday season!! I will be scarce until after the new year I am sure. So take care, and most of all Thank You!! Hugs!!

    Email from boss:
    _____
I wanted to share that all week I have been trying to come up with the right words to say so that I can post it on my board.

    I found them....

As the new year approaches, we all take the time, in some part, to reflect on what 2006 has bought to us. With each thought of a pending new year we make many promises to ourselves. Some, we will have the chance to make true and others that will fall by the side.

    But the true moment of reflection comes when you are able to say with pride and conviction that you have;

Made peace with the essence of who you really are and who you will become.
That you have valued each second that you have been given to love and lose.
That you have cared for your wounds, and cared for others wounds.
That you have let go of the pain that keeps you from opening your heart.
Apologized for the things you've said and done.
You have righted the wrongs with family, friends and yes, even co-workers.
That you have made a difference, a positive difference.
That you have been as gracious with others feelings as you were with your own.
That you have respected the differences amongst us all.

So often we look at the new year as the opportunity to change. Shouldn't those changes within ourselves come everyday? I challenge you in 2007, to do and be... a better person, to yourself, to your family and to your friends.

I challenge you to take ownership of your life, to live it as if there is no new year ahead of you.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish each and everyone of you a very blessed and spirited holiday.

I wondered when I read your thing if that message was for you or not.... it sounded so vague. I'm glad everything is OK!

    Hey Christy

Big ((HUG))! I am glad your DH backtracked. Men!!!!!

Earlier tonight there was a story on the local news about how this time of year the stresslevel for women is 68% of all women feel highly stressed out while only 23% of men feel stressed out. I don't think they realize all the multitasking we are doing this time of year.

Not to mention through in a few coops.. ;-) It's hard.

Hang in there.. it's almost Christmas. Your kids are going to be so much fun at xmas this year. Just keep thinking about that!
