    ITA...If something was broken or not up to code and was found on inspection, ok. But, it's not the seller's job to pay for upgrades! I can see asking a builder for upgrades if you are negotiating on a new house. Either way, demanding these things after agreeing on a price is dirty.

    We had a showing yesterday that called the day of, and then didn't even show up. Thanks. Used DS's nap to clean and woke him up early to get out of the house.

    And this is a real estate agent, right? I would hate to be on the sellers' end of their buyers' if they suggest that the buyers go after $ for upgrades. That's not right. If you want an upgraded house, keep looking! Or know that you will have to do it yourself. Jeez! Isn't that just common knowledge?

    I hope that a great offer is just around the corner!

    Oh, man! Isn't that the most frustrating thing!!! I'm sorry that you went to all that trouble for nothing.

    Yes, this is a *realtor* buying the home for *herself*. And this isn't a case where she's going to flip it--she really wants to live there. But when she tells my agent that "if I knew about the electrical/AC/insert-petty-gripe-of-the-day beforehand, I wouldn't have bid on the house".

    I'm sorry, you're a *LICENSED REAL ESTATE AGENT*!!! You got a sweetheart deal, and a 3% commission to boot! If you have buyer's remorse, I would be happy to take your earnest money and bid you a swift adieu!
