And what makes it suck even more is that if you had changed DD more often on my first 'day off' in months, we wouldn't be dealing with it!

Let's review
1) You cannot change DD only 4 times a day.
2) You may not have a great sense of smell, but that's no excuse to leave DD in poopy diapers.
3) You need to check/change her diaper after naps.
4) You need to change her diaper after meals.

Now I have to look forward to another bare-bottom-baby day. Any accidents will be cleaned by professionals. I'm sick of renting Rug Doctors.

Is he trying not to waste diapers? If he's anything like my DH, he doesn't give a hoot about saving diapers or the environment. And although his sense of smell is usually fine, he develops a mysterious sinus condition whenever he's on diaper duty.

No, he's just really, really clueless sometimes. We do have cloth diapers to cut down on cost/enviroment, but we had plenty disposables on hand.

At least today DH saw how nasty DD's poor bum is, and he really feels bad.
