Online auctions

I think mentioning online auctions would be helpful for readers who are trying to save money.

Some items are easier than others to purchase -- for example, Boppy pillows are plentiful and cheap on Ebay.

Of course, readers should be warned to understand the risks of purchasing from an individual, and should be informed as to what things to look for, such as thorough descriptions, etc.

They should also be told to look at the shipping costs. For exammple, a Pack N Play purchased at Ebay with shipping costs as much or more as the basic model purchased new at Toys R Us.

I purchased some discontinued PBK pattern sheets on Ebay and it worked very well. I also was able to purchase some handmade room decor items that matched the theme (lamp shade, switch cover).

I also think that online auctions would be a plus!!
