Yep, we agree---that would be a great feature! But are there any message boards with such a feature? We've not seen that. Let us know and we'll send that to the developer who writes the board script.
Meanwhile, we know that there are affordable spell check programs for both Mac and PC that do this on the fly---you might google what is out there! If anyone has a suggestion, post it here.

one of the first message boards i used had that feature... i had thought it was the norm. i'm racking my brain trying to think of which one. i'll see what i can find and let you know!
okay - i6 months later i've finally found another site that has a spell check option. it's not quite the same situation but evite.com has a feature that might work. i just received an evite and it allows you to enter a message when you respond if you're coming. this message box has a spell check option.
hopefully this will be of some help :)
I'm pretty sure the boards on kellymom.com have spellcheck. HTH!
ETC: Nope, I think I was wrong. I can't find that feature there now. Sorry!

Another suggestion to the boards.
Is it possible to set up the boards this way: When you finish reading a thread, your choices are next/previous topic, or back to the board. That takes you back to the top. But what if I was in the middle of the page & want to go back to where I was up to?
Example: I know on Craigslist, after you click a link & then click 'back' it takes you exactly where you were, rather than back to the top.
Hope I haven't been to long winded! & BTW- Thanks a million for the books & boards. They have been the best baby resource I've ever found!
