    Default Unsubscription option

I understand right now it can only be done via emailing the Fields?? Would it be possible to add this option, for the times when the Fields are too busy?? That would be great, many thanks.

I got this in a subscription email today:

Want to UNSUBSCRIBE to this topic? Log on to the boards and click the USER MENU button near the top. Then select topic subscription and check the box of any topic you want to UNSUBSCRIBE to. Then hit the button at the bottom of the page!

    Deb:
I am trying to have my account deleted, not just unsubscribe from a certain forum...I've already emailed the Fields; they're understandably busy these days.

The way the board script works, only we (the admin folks) can delete a user's account. Of course, just because the account is gone, that does NOT mean a user's posts disappear! And if you want to step back from the boards for a while, you can always change your user preferences to prevent others from emailing or private messaging you (if that is the concern).

    Hope that helps,
