    Ahh! Here's the thread!
You are so lucky to have this recipe and the rest of the book (which is a beautiful idea that I'll need to remember).

Thinking of you and your family on the 100th anniversary of her birth. I will make cookies for Christmas and think of her.

So glad Reeve was able to meet his great-gram. We weren't as lucky here... but hopefully that will change in future generations. :)

Linda--I'm so sorry about your grandmother.

What a gift to have her recipe handed down from so long ago. I can't wait and will be thinking about you as my family enjoys them.

Linda, I am so sorry for your loss. It is very sweet of you to honor her by sharing the recipe here. Just think, everytime somebody is making those cookies, they will be thinking of you and your dh's grandmother.

    Linda-

What a beautiful tribute to your Grandma. I'm sure she would love the idea of all of us enjoying "her" cookies.

Also, thanks for posting as it made me think of my Grandma today. She passed over 4 years ago. I have her recipe for caramels that she used to make every year for the holidays. I've never made it but I think I'll dig it out and maybe give it a whirl this year.

    Yay for Grandmas!
