Default RE: Advice on Plantar Wart - What kind of doctor?

About 20 years ago, I had a very bad plantar wart, very big. I went to a dermatologist, who excised it with a scalpel. I haven't had any problems in that area since.

    Default questions about recovery...

I need to hijack! I have some on the bottom of my foot. They are finally becoming painful enough, that I need to do something about them...First, how painful is the removal. Also, I've been putting off getting mine removed because I'm afraid of not being able to be on my feet for a few days. Would I be able to go about my regular routine right after the procedure?

    Thanks!

The duct tape thing takes a while to work IIRC. Like, you keep the duct tape on for a week or something and it pulls off. Here's a link talking about this method -- sounds like it takes quite a while, but is generally really effective!

My husband had no problem of getting rid of his own with and OTC. It did take diligence of applying the stuff and soaking his foot. But it worked. He had no pain associated with removal.
