    Default Blanket for toddler bed?

DS has been in his toddler bed for a few months now and we don't anticipate moving him to a bigger bed anytime soon. So I am finally going to purchase some toddler bedding for it, because he seems to be too cold with just the thin crib quilt for covers that we have been using.

I found a couple good sites for toddler bedding sets (http://www.domesticbin.com and http://www.specialtylinens.com) from searching this forum, but the sets do not come with blankets. I would like to use a top sheet, blanket AND comforter for DS like I use on my own bed. The crib mattress is about 28" x 52" and the only blankets I can find are crib blankets, which are 52" or shorter (and thus would not be good for tucking in the bottom - plus I already have a couple that size anyway) or twin size blankets which seem like they would be way too big. I have looked around for "throw" size blankets which seem like they would be the right size somewhat, but the only ones I have found are thick fleece ones. I am looking for a thinner cotton or possibly acrylic blanket like you would use on a bed with sheets. If you know of a source for a toddler bed sized blanket please let me know!

    Thanks,

What about this type of cotton throw: http://www.domesticbin.com/IBS/Simpl...id/530202.html
I used to see these kind everywhere, usually in the bedding department of most major department stores. Just a thought.

Thanks...that is something along the lines of what I was thinking of, if it is thin enough. I just don't want a huge thick blanket for his bed and I'm worried anything labeled "throw" is going to be too thick. I guess I will try to look in person and find a throw sized one that isn't too thick. Thanks for your help.
