    Default Toddler Bed Rail

We got a free toddler bed that doesn't have built in rails. I would love to transition my daughter to a twin bed, but we don't have room for a twin bed right now. I've been looking at bed rails online and all of the ones I've been looking at have disclaimers saying they aren't appropriate for toddler beds. Has anyone used a bed rail with a toddler bed? It seems like they should work okay in general.

    Thanks,

    Sarah

    Default RE: Toddler Bed Rail

    Sarah,

We are using one from OneStepAhead on our DD's toddler bed. Didn't know about the disclaimer. Oh well. DD has been in the bed for a week and LOVES it. We are planning on moving her to a twin in a couple of weeks, so wanted her to get used to the railing first.

The only thing I've noticed, is that the rail goes into the bed, so the sleeping space isn't as big as her crib (we have a convertable crib). DD is a horder and likes to have everything but the kitchen sink in her bed, but the lack of space hasn't detered her.
