Default How to dress a toddler for snow play?

I would like to buy some snow "gear" for Joshua to wear to play in the snow, go sledding, etc. But I really don't know if I should buy a pair of snow pants with a seperate coat, or a one-peice snow suit, or a pair of snow bib overalls with a coat overtop. What has been your experience? What about snow boots?
Oh! And where is an affordable place to buy them? I really don't care about getting a great brand since he'll probably only wear these things a few times for this one season.
    Thanks!

Default RE: How to dress a toddler for snow play?

We got Alex some snow bib overalls at Target for about $12.00. He wears those with his LE Squall winter coat and a pair of boots. This seems to be a really good combo.

He's also been out in the snow for shorter periods of time in one of those LL Bean one-piece fleece buntings.

We got his snow boots at a local shoe store. They're by Kamik. I think these are the ones (didn't buy them here):

They're easy to get on and off and are rated to a very cold temperature.
