Will she get confused peeing in her pullups outside??

Ok, so DD is making a bit of headway on the potty front. I introduced Big Girl Underwear last week and she will (sometimes reluctantly) put them on while in the house. She's had a few accidents, but has also ran to the potty while wearing them. I'm really excited! :) So, I decided we'll move to pullups for outside outings, and just use diapers overnight. I'm wondering how this works though: Will it confuse her if I *tell* her it's ok to pee in her pullup if we're in the car or at the park? She's not ready for me to be bringing a small potty with me or to have her go in a bathroom at say, Target. What's the best way to proceed?

Ds is about a week younger than your Dd, so I can't speak specifically, but I would think telling her she can pee in a pull-up sometimes, but expecting her not to, others, would be confusing.

What about bringing a portable potty in the car?
