Default Suggestions for fun bath toys?

    Hi all,

I'd love your ideas on new bath toys. I have a 4-yr-old and a 21-month-old son, and they love bath time. The Dolphin Symphony has done well for us (less as a musical toy than just fun little dolphins and rings), but the kids are bored with those and the old Sassy bath toys. What do your kids play with in the tub?

I ordered their sunscreen yesterday (the Avon Bug & Sun stuff is amazing) and saw body paints for kids -- four different colored, scented roll-on body paints made of soap -- and ordered two to see what they're like. I've never gotten that stuff before, though.

    Thanks,
    JT

My dd loves bath crayons from ALEX: http://alextoys.com/shop/product.asp...KFS7BVW2PK5ND3 . I got them at Target.

She also likes the bath foam letters that float and stick on the walls: http://www.kidsii.com/BrightStarts/P...?ProductID=127 .

Bathtime stickers are a big hit here! We get these at a local toy store but they are online too.

We've also gotten some stuff from Target (in their Summerville section) recently - a magnetic fishing set that is FUN & some wind up toys (they don't swim too well but dd doesn't seem to mind).

She also likes the foam bath books where the shapes come out of it. They are at B&N, amonth other places.

DD likes the stick on letters, too. I got ours at Target, but I've seen them at BRU (and I assume TRU) as well.

We just recently received this Mega Blocks Boat as a gift.

I thought Arielle wouldn't care much for it, but she adores it! She just fills it up with water and then dumps it out. I guess it's like a sand box to her, which is her newest passion.

The perk is that the baby adores the little yellow tug boat that came with the set! :)

Eli loves his bath crayons and a set of plastic boats we bought at Target (totally blanking on the manufacturer). They are sort of like lego boats in that each boat can have lego-like blocks or "boat tops" snap into the top. They are all interchangeable. One top looks like a fire fighter boat, one looks like a yacht, one looks like a house boat, etc., and the blocks come in several colors.

The thing my daughter enjoys the most was the cheapest :/ She uses a set up measuring cups, a tupperware bowl, and some other misc kitchen stuff.

That reminds me to go through her toys, and clean out some of her old bath toys.
