Default Has anyone tried the Gerber Lil Trainer Cup?

I saw it today in the propaganda that Gerber sends us...but it looked interesting. It is shaped like a regular cup, but has some kind of lip inside that is supposed to help control the flow. I thought it might be a good (and less messy) transition from a sippy to a "regular" cup.

Has anyone tried it and, if so, do you like it?

I have the Playtex version of this, but i have found it to be a bit of a waste. DD "gets" it, but still has zero inclination to drink from a regular cup, which is what I was hoping for!

We have the Playtex version too because DS is more interested in drinking from a regular cup than a sippy cup. He is able to use the cup by himself and drink from it. He consumes more from this cup than any sippy cup. However, he also gets quite a bit of the contents of the cup all over him when using it. I'm sure it's less than if I just gave him a cup without a lid, though. I do like it, but it's certainly not perfect.
