Default Kinderzeat: tall enough for kitchen island?

Does anyone know if the Kinderzeat or a similar seat would be tall enough to pull up to a kitchen island (which is taller than a dining room table)? My DS is getting sick of the high chair. He sees me and DH eat at the kitchen island all the time.

    Any other suggestions?

(FYI: The high chair is not tall enough to pull up to the island)

No it not tall enough. One thing that will work on a kitchen island is a hook-on highchair. Though it depends on the type on island you have what hook-on chair will work. I never have used them before so I'm also not sure about what size child they can accommodate.

One other option I can think of is a booster chair that can be strapped on to your stools. You would need to make sure it's really safe if you go this route because your DS would be up pretty high.

    Good luck

Michelle is right. Sadly, it doesn't work with one.

We use a Learning Tower at the counter for projects and some snacks, but that wouldn't work if you're looking for somplace for your son to sit and eat.
