Default Apollo vs. New Evenflo booster

Hi. In a few months I will need to move my almost-4 yr old into a booster, so I've been doing some research, since I am willing to spned more on Max's booster for my van, since he spends the majority of car time in it, compared to my husband's car.

I spoke today w/a rep from Evenflo who gave me the following info: The Apollo will be coming w/a LATCH kit after Sept, & costs about $100. (If you already have an Apollo, you can buy a LATCH kit for $25) They have a new seat, called the Comet, which will be about $70, and is more comparable to the Express - the differences are that it DOES NOT have the comfort touch padding, but does have some other nice features the Express doesn't have, like a tightening knob for the harness and wings.

Thanks, Amy. I've been wondering where the Comet fit in, since it isn't up on their website yet. If you get it, let me know what you think!
