    Default Booster with LATCH

I'm about ready to purchase a booster for my 4 year old and am looking for, what seems to be, the impossible --- a "high" quality booster with LATCH. I am extremely interested in the Jupiter Komfort Kruiser (with Graco Turbo and Britax Starriser Comfy a close 2nd/3rd). Is there anything on the market that is similar to the KK that has LATCH (and 5 pt harness that converts to use a seatbelt would be nice too)?

    Default RE: Booster with LATCH

When you start using the lap/shoulder belt, you no longer need latch.

Technically, you'd think that you could use both. As far as I know, even the seats that have internal harnesses, and use latch with that, don't allow the use of the latch hooks while in booster mode. The forces on a booster must just be different than in the harnessed mode.

So if your 4 year old is a full 40 pounds, and appears ready for the boosters, I'd just go that way and not worry about latch.

If your 4 year old is significantly less than 40 pounds, you might want to get a combo seat that can be used with the harness for now (and latch) then converts to a booster later on.
