Kangaroo Booster Seat
For my first DD, I bought from the Right Start Catalog, a booster seat called the Kangaroo Booster. This was about 10 years ago. It is a big blue chair custion that helps the children sit high enough for the seat belt to be used correctly. Now that my second DD is almost ready for a booster, can anyone tell me if this is still safe to use? I don't see them for sale anymore. Maybe the company went out of business?

RE: Kangaroo Booster Seat
You should really get a new booster seat. Most carseats and booster seats should only be used for 6-7 years. After that, it's time to toss them and purchase a new seat that meets all of the new safety standards. If you still neeed a five-point harness on the booster, the Evenflo Comet($60) is a good choice. If you need a seat to just be a belt-positioning booster, the new Graco Turbo Booster($60) or the Britax Starriser Comfy Booster ($119, top choice in Consumer Reports) are good choices. Good luck!
