Default Need a third car seat!!!

I would love any advice out there...

I currently have my 2 1/2 year old son in a Britax Marathon and my 7 month old son in a Roundabout (I have a VW Jetta). Right now, when we take my husband's minivan, we switch both seats out of my car and into his and it is quickly becoming a pain. Because of this, we figured that we'd buy one seat (we're thinking some sort of booster for 2 1/2 yr.old) and just continue to move Roundabout back and forth for youngest son.

Any advice as to what car seat to get for husband's car? Is indeed buying a booster the smart thing to do? I was looking at the Evenflo Chase ComfortTouch Booster.

Thanks so much!! Any input would be greatly appreciated!

How much does each child weigh? What is your older sons torso height? Sit him against a wall flat on his bottom. Measure from the floor to the top of his shoulders- where the harness would be when FF.

What is your budget for this seat? How often is your DH's car used?

Oldest son is @ 32 lbs. and youngest is 21 lbs. (big boys!). I haven't measured torso height, but I did notice today that straps are in top notch on the Roundabout.

My kids ride in my car all week, but on the weekends we tend to use the minivan more than my Jetta. I was looking to spend about $100 - $125, but also don't want to get something that I'll regret because I didn't want to spend an extra $50 or so!

Also, I did a little more research and am thinking that the FP Safe Vogage Deluxe seat looks pretty good to put in my husband's car.

    Input??!!

The FP is a fine seat for either child. Maybe you could get the FP seat for your older son and a Cosco Serena for the baby? It is RF to 35 lbs and seems very light and small compared to the MA but it is a great seat on a budget~$40
