    Default Evenflo Generation VS Cosco Summit

    My son and daughter both have grown out of thier convertable car seat and we can't decied which to go with. We like the Evenflo but it has not yet been crash tested. Anyone have any advise. Both kids still need a 5pt harness and my son is tall for his age and thin my daughter is average and a 6 pounds less then my son. both over 20. Thanks for any advice!!!

    What are their ages, height and weight, and what seats are they currently in.

    No comparison, the Summit is terrible for kids who are outgrowing their convertible seats: The top useable headrest/harness slots are lower than many convertible seats, and as a booster, it's too heavy to pass legal government standards. ALL seats are crash tested, just not by (dubious) Consumer Reports.
    How old and tall and heavy are your kids, there are plenty more harnessing options out there, but it's good to know what size they are before we make any recommendations.
