"Which to buy: Baby Jogger III OR Baby Jogger Performance Series?"

I am trying to decide between a Baby Jogger III (20" wheels) or the newer Baby Jogger Performance Series Single (also with 20" wheels). Does anyone have a recommendation between the two?

Does the Performance Series have some newer features that are more desireable than the Jogger III? The Baby Bargains book pointed out that the Performance Series strollers are being manufactured by a new company (Baby Jogger has been bought out), and I don't want to purchase the new product without knowing that it is of the same high quality as the Baby Jogger II and III strollers.

Personally, I would go for the older models as they are made in the USA. The new ones are made in China.
