Default Radio/CD player/tape player for toddler

My son loves music, and I wanted to find a radio/cd player/or tape player with the capability to play 'real' music. Does anyone have any suggestions on durable electronic products for toddlers like this?

    Thanks in advance!

I would get the fisher price tape player. It has big buttons for them to push, a handle for them to carry it, and a microphone to sing along. They might even have a cd player, but Im not sure. One thing great about it is its tough and will take a beating.

If you have a lot of cds already then just record them onto tapes for him then he will have a longer playing time with them as well. I had one as a kid and my daughter now has one and she loves it!

Thanks for your help - I was at a complete loss about durability. Your idea about taping CD's is good, too. The CD's will probably last a lot longer that way!
