    Default Cookware Sets

Does anyone have a play cookware set and/or play dishes they are particularly fond of for their child?

Seems almost like a dumb question, but I've gone from seeing many different sets in catalogs to not finding anything at TRU or Walmart this past weekend when I finally was able to travel to the big stores -- I live in a small town so I do a lot of on-line shopping, but quality is not always what I expec once receiving the package.

    TIA!

I have this set of these toys by Cafe Play that I picked up at TJ Maxx: http://sactoys.com/bybrandline.asp?lid=132

I just wanted to share that I'm not particularly enamored of the set I got. The metal pans are OK, but the set also came with a wooden spoon and cutting board that have NOT held up well. I had to discard the spoon it got so chipped and I felt it was a hazard.

In retrospect, I wish I had gotten something more like this:

Thanks, Beth. That info. was helpful and prompted me to purchase something that looks very similar to what you would have bought in retrospect. The set I found is on sale at Toys to Grow On, costing a total of $12.74 when shipped, which is less than the cost of the set you linked to and, yet, it also contains many more items (hope that makes sense -- we are sick and not thinking clearly!). Here's the link:

    HTH you too!

I had been looking for a set myself. I was thinking I'd go with Ikea's set, but the toystogrowon.com set was so inexpensive, I went ahead and ordered one for myself and another to donate to our church's nursery. We'll see.
