Default Anyone have any ideas on how to fix a magna doodle?

Hi all. My son got a magna doodle last weekend, and already we somehow have a dark grey stripe down the middle that wont seem to erase when we move the eraser back and forth.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    thanks,

julie and sean (who wants to play with the doodle)

I would call the company (FisherPrice??) and ask about it. They have good customer service.

You may want to call the company or try taking it back to the store.

However, if those options don't work, try 1 or 2 of these things:

Push the back of the Magna Doodle with your hand while sliding the eraser back and forth. This has worked for some hard to erase places for us.

Since it's new, you may want to try coloring in the whole Magna Doodle and then erasing it. Try this several times.

    Good luck.

I hope it is fixable. I had one when I was a kid and I threw a roller skate on top of it, and it became ruined. It was a "splatter" mark on it, not a line. If something heavy (and maybe metal) landed on your magna doodle, that could have caused it. Sure, hope you get it solved!!

My son did something similar. He took the MD pen and was jabbing it point down on the MD. He pounded so hard that he made a small dent in the surface and that spot cannot erase now.
