Looking for remote control car for 18m old ds...

Any suggestions?? I got the Parents brand one from Target for his 1st bday and it only worked for a couple days, but he still carries it around everyday and tries to make it work. I found a Chicco brand one online but it's out of stock at most places! TIA Patty

I got the grow with me RC rally from Fisher Price. It's ridiculously expensive ($80) but I got it from the Mattel Outlet for $25. DS really likes it. Remote control things are one of his favorites. I haven't seen one lately at my Mattel store, but I haven't really been looking since I already have one. You can check if you have a Mattel store near you by going to (I think) Mattelstore.com. If that doesn't work google it. If you don't, I could make a trip and see if I see one. I got a real steal though - even there it was marked at $50 and I found one 50% off because of a damaged box.

We also got a great deal on the Fisher Price remote control car. The nice thing about it is that during "phase 1" the car loosly follows the track so there is no frustration for a young driver!
