Disney with 21month old, 7 yr old and no DH?

The story is complicated but here is the jist: Disney with 21month old, 7 yr old and no DH?

I have a last minute chance to go to Disney for a week and wanted to know if anyone has done this before? What about driving 15 hours? Am I insane? Or should I leave 21 month old home with DH and just go with 7 year old - oh, the GUILT!!

Well I have never done it before. A 15 hr drive with two kids would seem a little daunting to me, although I think you could have a good time, as long as the 7-year old doesn't mind missing out on a few rides. There are certain rides that have height *and* age limits for riding alone (while you wait with the 21-mos old), like Splash Mountain - for safety reasons. If you take the 7-year old alone, that would definitely un-complicate some things for you. But that drive - have you driven that far before, alone? If you know you can do it, why not? Or why not fly?
