    Default Grandparents & toddler vacation

My parents are celebrating their 50th anniversary and we are trying to find a vacation spot that will also be fun for our 3.5 year old (will be at the time of the trip) and it must be in the US. We are trying to stay away from Disney since they live there. Any advice?

I know this is an older post but I would suggest renting a beach house somewhere for all of you. It would be really nice to just be able to relax and hang out, imo. The Outer Banks, some of the Delaware beaches...all nice options. You could try something like a cruise too that has dif't entertainment options for the age ranges. Since they are in FL they wouldn't have to fly to a port. Of course, the New England cruises are supposed to be really nice in the fall!

    Happy 50th to them!

Thanks for the advice..in fact, that is what we are going to do. :-) We are planning a week-long vacation on the ocean, renting a house, but near a fun city where we can have basically 3 kinds of vacations in one (pool, ocean, and fun tourist city)!

    Thanks!
