We are going this weekend to Ohio to visit relatives who do not have young children. I would love ideas of some places to go with my 3 and 4 year olds. Anyone live nearby? Any good shopping too? Thanks!

We recently moved to Dayton Ohio, about 1.5 hours from Columbus. We haven't been to any of these places, but a lot of the Moms around here recommend: The Columbus Zoo, COSI (the science museum), and Fort Rapids indoor water park.

My parents live there! My favorite place to take the kids is Inniswood garden (not Innis park). It is in Westerville, so 15-20 min from Gahanna. They have a really cool "Sisters' Garden" that has neat paths and hiding places. My kids love it there and it is free! http://www.metroparks.net/ParksInniswood.aspx

Downtown has a wonderful museum called COSI with loads of things for kiddos to do. Good shopping at Easton right by Gahanna.

Just wanted to share we went to Inniswoods Garden Metro Park and it was great! There was a Bug exhibit going on until Oct I think and there were huge wooden scultures of ladybugs, butterflies, dragonflies, spiders, ants etc... If anyone is in the area it is worth a visit. They have picnic tables just outside of the garden which is nice too....
