Silencing consumer complaints and consumer information
http://www.chron.com/cs/CDA/story.hts/editorial/2188359 More and more corporations, including home builders, are suing people who complain or disseminate truthful information of a negative nature. I hope if any precedent is set by these frivolous suits, it's that corporations should spend their money on ensuring quality and customer service, instead of lawyers and denial. Home buyers and all consumers depend on being able to find truthful info about a company before they buy from them. Silencing this kind of info will severely harm consumer's ability to "do their homework" before buying, especially with many BBB's and state agencies keeping complaints confidential.
