What diaper would you love to try?

Becca and Jen, the tykie dipes are certainly reasonably priced. And being hemp, they may actually be fairly absorbent! :) Oh, you two are so evil (jk) trying to tempt me into buying another diaper... :)

Okay, so since we're talking hemp fitted, how do the tykies compare to the Liz's Hemp Fleece fitted? I'm thinking absorbency and trimness.

I don't have a liz cloth dipe. But the tykies are trim, and very absorbant. I think they are similar to the fluffymail dipes, if you have seen one of those. Not as trim as a firefly or elbee of course, but trim for a hemp diaper with snap in doubler. Did you see the photos in her picture perfect gallery...to give you an idea!? An Ann's sewing is always impeccable, and she is just so nice!

And she does a fun thing to the soakers...

I got rid of a lot of my dipes and only kept the ones that I felt were reliable (absorbant) as I have a heavy wetter. I kept my tykies, SOS, fluffymail dipes, and a few random hemp dipes.

Cadie is great! I don't have any dipe pics. I think I'll wait for the cord to be a bit more presentable! I'll try to get one of the RB that Carolee gifted us! Right now she's in a snappied IPF so that's nothing special.
As for the sono, one of the peds at our group (who we've vowed never to schedule an appt. with) "thought" she heard a heart murmur and insisted we go to a pediatric cardiologist directly after her ped visit this past monday. So we took the 1/2 hour trip and Cadie had a sono and an echocardiogram. It turns out it's just normal blood flow the ped was hearing. So all is well.
Oh this was the same ped who said on Monday "I give that 2 weeks" regarding CDing. Way to be supportive, eh?

Aah, not only are you doing the environment a favor by CDing but the all the world's people too. It is like buying a cloth diaper is akin to the Butterfly Effect "when a butterfly flaps its wings in Brazil, does it set off a tidalwave in Japan?" You are single-handedly making the world a happier place, one diaper at a time. It's a big responsibility but one I love taking on :)
