Default Your favorite doublers and where to buy them

Can you believe that I've been using CPFs without doublers? I'm sick of hourly diaper changes. Point me to your fav doublers!

Would hemp work? I really like the ones that Shandelle (todzwife)makes. I think they would work with CPFs. They're slightly houglass shaped, and you can get them topped with microfleece.

I also use Sugarpeas doublers - from

And I've seen some inexpensive doublers from CPFs at www.growmearainbow.com

And - I recently posted about making my own - just cut up a CPF into quarters :) - though that probably won't work for you. I'm using them to boost pockets.

I think the doublers are more to increase absorbency for babes that pee through a diaper than to avoid changes. At night they would definitely increase time between changes if DC pees periodically but doesn't wake. During the day it won't change the fact that the diaper gets wet and the baby can feel it. Depending on your cover, it will still wick through--the wetness seems to go all the way through the diaper and doubler no matter what. I know when DD pees right after we get her in her nighttime diaper, it's wet all the way through despite it being twice as thick as any daytime diaper!
