We're pretty boring over here ;-)

A Zillion Prefolds and homemade fleece liners

    Fitteds:
6 Kissaluvs size 0 (yes I am still squeezing her tiny butt into these, but I think I need to put them away this week.
    1 Kissaluv 1 (blue/lime)
    1 Mother-Ease OS
1 Luke's Drawers OSW in blue toile (on the way)
1 Tykie Diapers Curious George print (on the way)
1 Lucy's Hope Chest in Nautical print (on the way)
1 Sugarpeas size 1 in seashell print (on the way)

    AIOS:
1 Bumkins yellow bug print (on the way)

    Pockets:
2 FBs medium (1 morning green, 1 frog seconds)

    Fleece Covers:
    1 Sugarpeas one layer
    1 Stacinator blue stripes

    PUL Covers:
    2 white litewraps
    1 Bumpy Day pastel teddies
    1 Bumkins pink supernova
2 ME airflows -1 white, 1 our oceans (on the way)
1 Bummis super pants (on the way)

    Misc:
1 Joeybunz, 2 random doublers, snappis, wipes, etc.

I recently found a word file listing all the diapers I "planned" to buy that I had set up before DD was born. I'm not that far off cost wise, but I've definitely made a few impulse purchases I didn't expect. Also, before DD was born I was all about using wool once she got into mediums-now I just can't see it, I'm intimidated by the potential extra work involved and the cost.

Using wool is not actually that much work, and while the cost is more than your usual litewraps and proraps, they're not that much more than the Bumpy Day (for example, there's the Bumpy wool). You can always try one, although be warned that wool can be addicting. :)

Wow! It's fun to see what everyone else has. I really tiptoed into CD over a couple of months but have finally built up enough of a stash that we've been doing it full-time for a few weeks now (OK, not at night but that's just because he just started sleeping thru the night and I'm afraid to mess with that.) We mainly stick to PFs and covers but I have some more fun stuff on the way. So here goes...

13 Infant CPFs (trifolded into a cover)
    13 Regular UBCPFs (snappied)

    Fitteds:
1 Kissaluv Size 1 (only use if there's nothing else left)
1 Mupdies Side Aplix in Texas Cowboys (on the way)

    Covers:
    3 Bumpy Day
    1 Bumpy Night
2 BSWW (Used to hate...now my fave!)
    1 Prorap
1 Mudpie in Sports Equipment (on the way)
1 Bumpy Soft (on the way)

    Pockets:
4 FBs (mostly for naps right now)

    AIOs:
    1 Bumkins
1 Daisy Doodles (from Nita on SWAP...LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT!!!)
2 Mudpies in Baby Blue Hibiscus & Red Hawaiian (on the way)

    Wool:
    Stacinator
Stacinator Stretch in Teal (on the way)
Sit on Knits Shorts (on the way...YEA!!!)

So pretty boring but we're liking it. I don't think I'll really venture into fitted land. PFs just work too well for us right now. If anything, I'll play around and make some prefitteds myself.

    Great stash for a newbie!!
I too used prefolds over fitteds for the longest time... they worked really well.. then i started getting lazy and wanting more absorbency for when we were out and about and entered the world of fitteds.. it has been my downfall. lol.

That's a great start! When I started, I used only K0's (until she outgrew them) prefolds and PUL covers. VERY boring. But when I finally started her on solids, I started venturing out into pockets and fitteds, which is more pricey, but a lot more fun. :) These days, when she has stomach viruses, I either put her in a fitted with cover or snappi'd PF w/cover. Both do well, unlike pockets. So PFs definitely have their place!!!

LOL-that's my other fear: that once I try the goodstuff I'll be dissatisfied with my tiny stash ;-) I find covers much more addicting than diapers.

    Prefolds:
    12 IPFs

    Fitteds:
12 prefitteds my mom made for DD (+ a few more on the cutting table...)

    PUL covers:
    1 Nikky
    1 Bumpy soft
2 that DH's mom made for DD

    Wool covers:
    2 Sugarpeas wool jersey
2 BJ Marketplace soakers (on the way)

    Pockets:
    3 Baby Blankets
    1 Fuzzi Bunz
    2 DH's mom made
3 Bugz Fuzz (on the way)

    AIOs:
1 Bumkins (just got here and haven't used it yet)
    1 Jellybean (on the way)
