I haven't posted many dipe pics of DD, and I've tried to be careful to make sure she was wearing a shirt or her face wasn't showing. This really puts the whole "sickos out there" thing into a little too close perspective.

I looked all through babies and didn't recognize anyone.

I'm currently wading through toddlers (boy, there are a lot of pics!) and haven't recognized anyone yet. But really, I'm just looking for my ds, so I might not recognize any BBB babies that well.

It seems like most MDC mommas who have found their dc's have found them in the toddler section.

weird how once after sharing pics of Tristan someone spoke of such perverts who take pictures from the net for personal use and I just thought that so far out there and not "real" I guess. My first thoughts then were "well I'll never know" and might have had some slight comfort in that then...but now am just gut wrenched over this...

just so everyone knows... there are pics in diapers and pics in clothing... they get them from WAHM sites, bulletin boards, and if you use any of the free photosites like webshots, etc.

Just becareful how you post pics online.... some ideas:
1. put a copyright on the photo where it can not be cropped out...you own your pics and its a copyright violation for anyone to use them without your permission. But really if you put on it "Copyright Smith Family 2005" or something no one is going to steal it because it ruins the picture for them. for example:

2. dont use names, the word diaper, naked, etc... in the name of the files. From now on im keeping my picture names to just abreviations and numbers.

3. If you post pictures publicially for people to see, only keep them up there for a day or 2 then move them to a private, password protected area....

You just never know. The CEO of Bowne Publishing was just indicted for child porn and destruction of evidence. He wiped 12,000 files off his work computer of child porn to get the destruction of evidence/obstruction charge. Another exec at Bowne told him he was being investigated. He was on the Board of Education for NY at one time too. It is just awful.
