Default RE: Are Fuzzi Bunz just not breathable enough?

No, probably not, because the paper liners shift around and don't cover the entire diaper area.

I agree--if it's a fleece problem, there's no way the liners will cover the entire diaper area, especially if your little is active in any way. Some times it ends up completely in her butt crack (poor thing), but fortunately, it mostly remains in place. But even then, you can tell that the whole diaper area is not completely covered (as evident when I have to spray the diaper.

I would purchase just a couple all cotton diapers like mother-ease one size diaper unbleached and/or unbleached 100% cotton prefolds with a mother-ease airflow cover--air those buns!!! When the rash is gone-- could be as early as the next AM!!.. I would then try again part-timing it with the FB and still use the 100% cotton for nap and nite time. Sometimes I find that is all it takes to solve the problem. There could be a sensitivity to the fleece as others suggested but this way you will know if it is an allergy or just a sensitivity. Could be a stage too.

Check the child's diet for allergies as well.

Would try out a rash cream without cod liver oil like Johnson and Johnson, Balmex, or Aveeno. Stay away from the Boudrux's butt paste, any sprays for diaper rash or any scented wipes of any kind (I don't care what the packaging says-natural herbs or whatever...forget it!) I would wash the baby bunz for diaper changes with plain water and a washcloth blotting very very gently. Also remember acidy poop such as that from diarhea would make even the cloth diapered baby rashy.

Also watch what detergent you are washing with -but that is another topic.

Please do let me know how it goes!!!!

If after all that you are convinced it is the FB, you could hold em' and try the same method in a few months or be done with em'.
