Hello!
My name is Heather, and I'm a first time mom to Payton Thomas, born 9/6/03. I found my way here this week and have been learning lots as I scanned the topics.
I'm temporarily a SAHM, but plan to return to work as an engineer in January '04. My husband and I happen to work for a manufacturer of name brand disposable diapers, so while I'm learning quite a bit about being a mom, I had quite a head start on diapering!
Looking forward to meeting you all, and picking up some great tips!

Welcome Heather. So glad to have you here! Make sure you stick around, there are a lot of us mommies who work full time too. We can try to help you when you go back to work if you need it. For now, enjoy that sweet babe.

I wish we'd get free diapers for life... :) We just got coupons for a few free bags of diapers, wipes, etc. We DO have the option to participate in panels-- do a test drive on the upgrades before they're released to the public. It's possible to go several months without buying diapers if you pay attention and sign up for as many consecutive panels as you can!
