Hi everyone,

I just thought I would introduce myself. My name is Renee and I am expecting my first baby on January 5th. I am 26, a second year medical student at the University of Illinois, and have been married for 4 years. I have been reading the boards for a while, and have bought things based on suggestions here, so I thought I might start posting now! Hope to get to know you all!

I hear that it's a tough choice. BTW, I don't know how apprehensive you are about having a baby during med school, but I wanted to let you know that a dear friend of mine is in her 3rd year of an OBGYN residency and has 2 under 2...and she's pulling it off nicely:) Best wishes,Mary

Hi Renee. Good luck w/ the quickly approaching birth of your babe. And, wow, i'm impressed med school & a baby. I'm working on my dissertation so the pressure isn't too great, but med school has always sounded so challenging.
