Lauren Elise is born!

Hello! Lauren was born 12/5/03 and weighed 6 lbs. 12 oz. and was 20 inches long. I had an incredibly short labor for a first baby- got to the hospital at 6 am (4 cms dilated) and was 10 cms dilated at 9:30 am. Lauren was born at noon. We will always remember that we had to drive to the hospital during a snowstorm. Took us over an hour to go 12 miles, as the roads weren't cleared.

We are loving our new baby. We have never been so tired in our whole lives, but we are also extremely happy!

I will try to post a picture a bit later, when I have the time. Right now, a nap sounds wonderful!

Lana, congratulations on the arrival of Lauren Elise!! Lucky you with your short labor!! And yikes about the snowstorm...I'm hoping we're not facing the same challenge when our little girl makes her appearance. (But we've had quite a bit of snow already...not a good sign...)
