Here's my intro

Hi everyone! I have been lurking here for several months - since just after my 2nd baby was born last August. My name is Kristen and I have two sons - Paolo, born 11/21/00 (almost 3.5 years) and Benjamin, born 8/21/03 (6 mos). I am a huge bargain hunter/shopper and have LOVED finding a group of women who do so much researching over finding the perfect baby gear, etc. like I do. You all are great!

I had been posting a lot on another message board but have found the women here to be so much more polite and mature than elsewhere. There's so much unnecessary drama and catfighting out there and it's wonderful to see such a different atmosphere over here.

Thanks! Paolo is an Italian name; I am 1/2 Italian and my dh is Filipino. So it was his idea and at first I vetoed it right away because it was too different. But then it kinda grew on me and we went with it. People make a lot of crazy remarks. Someone has even asked me if we made it up (!) and another woman said, "well, he can always choose to call himself Paul if he needs to be taken seriously in the business world." Ahhh, the nerve! Anyway, it suits him perfectly. Glad you like it!
